Inquiry to my madness

“Hold your head up and you’ll go far, listen to me when I say, you’re beautiful in a way cause god makes no mistakes.” This is just one quote from a powerful song that makes me want to just smile and have fun because I know what it says is the truth.

 

When I first heard this song I didn’t really pay attention to it because I thought the artist was just insane, but then I listened closer. She is giving you the best advice anyone could give you! I started tearing up when I listened closely. “Don’t hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and your set.” Why do we let these people torment us and knock us down? Why do we let them use our heads as a stepping stool toward the top? Most of the time we don’t “let” them, they just do it. We don’t stop them because we think their better than us. Why do we think that? Well, I’ll tell you why, because that’s how it’s been our entire life!

 

We see kids who stand up, and most of the time they get shoved in lockers, and thrown into trash cans. No that doesn’t just happen on TV, its real, and that’s why we’re scared. Why not just take the verbal abuse instead of the physical, right? WRONG! We need to hold our heads up and stand our ground like this wise women said. We were all “Born to be Brave.” It’s just our choice to show it.

 

Lady GaGa today is one who has been criticized for years about her wardrobe, whether or not she is a hermaphrodite, and just who she is in general. She is such a strong women to be able to sing a song like this after everything that has happened to her. “Whether life's disabilities; Left you outcast, bullied, or teased Rejoice and love yourself today; 'cause baby you were born this way.” We are born this way for a reason, why are we wasting what we are worth on people who don’t even matter? I’ll tell you why, because we are scared of our potential. If we all knew how strong we really are, we would never have another bullied child in the corner.

 

I’ll be the first to admit, I was bullied as a child. This song helped me really grow strong are stand up to everything. Day after wretched day I would run from the bus stop from all the rocks that they would throw. But because of what they did to me, I am a stronger person. We all have it in us to stand up for ourselves, or even be a hero to someone else and help them.

 

Bulling is real, I know, I lived with is for eleven years before I finally said enough. Lady GaGa also says “We are all born superstars” because we are all different! There will never be another you, so be the best YOU possible and don’t worry about anyone else. Today, love yourself because you deserve it, rejoice because you hold the key to your own happiness.
