Merida
Brave

Brave Came out June 22nd 2012. The scottish Princess Merida is unlike any other disney princess. She is more manly then most of the bachelors that want to have her hand in marriage. She could care less about being proper, she would rather be out on the archery course practicing. Merida has no desire to follow in the footsteps of her mother. She would rather carve her own path.
The Legend
Merida was the young princess of King Fergus, and Queen Elinor. Her father gave Merida her first bow and arrow. Her mother objected, but from that pint on Merida was obsessed with the archery world. It was on that day while she was leaning to shoot that the monstrous bear Mor'du interupted. The king fought him off, but the king lost his leg to the beast and became legendary. Later she also became a sister to triplet brothers who were rather mischievous.
King Fergus

King Fergur is the father of princess Merida. He is fierce king and is also known as "The Bear King" because he lost his leg to the feared Mor'du. Fergus is also the head of the Dunbroch clan. He has the special ability to smell and sence the presents of bears. He doesn't mind that this daughter likes to shoot arrows, or may not want to be married. But he does what his wife tells him.
The Triplets

Merida's trouble making brothers Hamish, Hubert, and Harris. They are some of the smartest little kids i have ever seen. They hav secret tunnels through out the castle to hide and get around. She refers to them as the little Devils. They, like all little kids, have a major sweet tooth that get them in trouble.
Queen Elinor

Elinor is Merida's mother, and the beloved queen. Eveyone knows that she is the most elegant women of the land, and she wasnt Merida to follow in her footsteps. She forces Merida to take princess lessons of what to do and what not to do. Dispite the fact that Merida hates the lessons, Elinor feels like that Merida will come to her sences and appreciate them. She offers her daughters hand in marriage to each of the Clan leaders eldest sons, and all three accept.
Merida is enraged and marriage has never even crossed her mind. She doesnt think its fair for her mother to make her marry a strange man. But the lords and their clans come to the castle for the game to be announched and to see who will win the princesses hand, and evetualy become King.

Merida grabs her horse Angus and rides off crying and while running through the woods Angus throws the princess from his back into the middle of a stange rock formation. From there she is lead by little lights to a strange cabin.
The Witch

Merida finds this stange woman carving wood. but the strang women cannot hide that she is a witch. Merdia offers to buy all her carvings if she helps her. The witch agrees and conjured up a posion in the form of a cake. She says that the cake will changer her mom and her fate.
When Merida gets back, she places the cake ona plate to give to her mother. When the Queen eats is, she starts to choke and tries not to insult her daughters baking. But nothing happened instantly so Merida thought it didnt work. Then all of a sudden Elinor got dizzy and felt sick, so Merida took her upstairs to lay in bed. Within moments her mother transformed into a bear.

Her mother was now one of the creatures that her father has been hunting for years. Merida was so mad because the witch had given her a gammy spell, and the queen was enraged. They went back to the witches cottage for help, only to find out that she would be gone till spring. Also they found out that by the time the second sunrise appeared, the spell would be perminante. The witch also said the only way to break the spell was to "Mend the bond". Neither of them knew what that meant. they slep in the woods that night and when they woke up they spent the morning really getting to know eachother and spand time together. All of a sudden the little lights that lead her to the cottage appeared again.
The lights lead them to an old rundown castle. Everything was in ruins, and when they started to climb to the top, Merida fell through the floor into an old thrown room. She started piecing clues together in her head, an old legend her mother used to tell her about the four kings clicked, and the one who wanted to be the only ruler had gone to the same witch she had, and when he asked for the strength of ten men, she tramsformed him into a bear, but not just any bear, Mor'du! Right as she figured it out, mor'du appeared and the princess started climbing for her life. Her and her mother ran back to the castle because in order to mend the bond, she had to stitch up the tapestry she had ruined. On her way up that is when she told the Lords of the powerful clans that she didn't want to marry any of thier son's, and all young people should have a choice in who they wed. All the sons agreed and everyone was happy, exept the Queen. they ran to the tapestry and started to sticth it up when King Fergus walked in and saw the massive bear. He drew his sword but Merida stopped him in time for the Queen to escape. Al the clans chased the bear not knowng it was the queen. Merida had a bit of a set back when she comes to find out her brothers had also eaten the cake and were baby bears too. They helped her get out of the locked castle and find their mother. When they reached their mother Merida stopped King Fergud from beheading his own wife, and Mor'du came out of the shadows. He was after Merida, but the Queen fought him until he was finally killed by a bolder. His soul was let free. Merida placed the tapestry on her mother and she transformed back into a human. From then on out Merida and her mother were friends, and loved each other, and lived Happily Ever After.
